Welcome to GlobeExplorerTips.com, a place where our family chronicles our travel escapades and shares insider tips on exploring the world with kids. We’re thrilled to have you join us as we embark on a new adventure: a family trip to Italy in 2023! But first, let us introduce ourselves and share some of our travel history.
Our Love for Travel: The Beginning My wife and I have always been passionate about traveling. Sadly, we didn’t have the financial means to explore the world before having kids, except for that one unforgettable trip to Cuba when we got stuck due to Hurricane Ike. However, as our financial situation improved over the years, we started traveling more often – and this coincided with the arrival of our children!
Traveling as a Family: Building Memories In the past decade, our family has visited some fantastic destinations, including Florida (twice), Cuba, Puerto Rico, Cozumel, the Bahamas (Nassau), and Banff, Canada. Each trip has brought us closer together and created priceless memories that we’ll cherish forever. We believe that when we’re old and grey, we’ll look back on these adventures with our kids, rather than material possessions, as the most meaningful experiences in our lives.
Our Couples’ Escapades: France and Italy During our honeymoon, my wife and I had the privilege of visiting the enchanting countries of France and Italy. The rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and delicious cuisine left us yearning to return someday – this time, with our children.
Up Next: Italy with the Kids In 2023, we’re taking our kids to Italy for the first time! We recently booked this trip and are in the midst of planning the entire experience. We thought it would be an excellent opportunity to document our journey, share tips on traveling with kids, and provide insights on planning a family trip to Italy while avoiding common pitfalls.
